Louie Bumgardner joins Electrotech with 14 years of expertise in the electrical and data network infrastructure industries. Beginning his career in 2010 at a manufacturer’s representative firm, Louie spent eight years deploying optical technology across diverse sectors, including electric utilities, universities, CATV/telecom, data centers, OEMs, and retail markets. As a successful leader in these areas, he went on to build and expand the firm’s technology division.

After gaining six years of valuable experience on the supplier side of the industry, Louie is excited to return to representing manufacturers at Electrotech, where he will further contribute to the growth of their technology division.

Louie holds a Bachelor of Science in Educational Science from St. Cloud State University, where he also played on the lacrosse team. Prior to his business career, he began as a science teacher, inspiring students to love science.

​

A native of Saint Paul, Louie enjoys traveling with his wife and two kids. He’s passionate about outdoor sports and counts skiing, snowboarding, golf, fishing, hunting, sailing, pickleball, and hockey among his many interests.
